Kidde product description

A fire blanket should be present in all homes. It is an essential fire safety product - in particular fire blankets should be used on all chip or fat pan fires where it is not adviseable to use a fire extinguisher due to the potential risk of spraying the burning oils.

A fire requires three different elements in order to continue burning - removing any of these elements will result in the fire being extinguished

Kidde fire blankets all benefit from a 3-layer cloth which includes a vapour barrier in the middle which reduces heat and so speeds up the extinguishing process.
